PRACTICAL PROBLEM-SOLVING FOR REAL WORLD LIVING

Occupation is not just a job or a profession. Occupations are meaningful activities that people do in their daily lives to occupy their time, give life purpose, and contribute to their identity and well-being. These are the things we do every day – from ordinary and necessary to preferred and chosen – that shape our health, wellbeing and identity.
When changes in health, functional status, aging, caregiving or sensory challenges make everyday life harder, I help people find practical solutions that support purpose, wellness, and functional success.

My Approach

MEETING YOU WHERE YOU ARE - IN LIFE, IN HEALTH, AND IN DAILY LIVING

I’m a problem solver at heart with a deep understanding of the nuances of human function. My approach is grounded in respect for human potential and the belief that meaningful occupation is essential to living a balanced and satisfying life, recognizing that what is meaningful differs for each person depending on their abilities, interests and circumstances.

My focus has evolved beyond the constraints of insurance-driven care, allowing me to provide services that truly support wellness, prevention and meaningful engagement, rather than being limited by what is reimbursable.  Integrating 20 years of clinical experience with a forward-thinking, consultative model of practice to provide education and guidance that empowers clients. I develop creative, practical strategies to help people build supportive environments and routines, and to engage in meaningful activities that enhance independence, function, comfort, dignity, and overall well-being.

In addition to occupational wellness consulting, I provide direct myofunctional therapy through MyoLink, working in partnership with my colleague Natalie - a practice that has deepened my understanding of how airway health and sleep quality impact nervous system regulation, daily life, and overall health and well-being

MY SPECIALITY IS YOUR NEEDS

Rather than focusing on a specific diagnosis, age group, or setting, my work applies deep occupational knowledge and experience across a wide range of real-world challenges - adapting support to what is needed at particular moments in life.

I provide occupational wellness consulting focused on creative, realistic solutions that support ability-centered independence, function, wellness, prevention, and quality of life.

I look closely at the physical, cognitive, sensory, emotional, and social aspects of daily tasks. This perspective enables me to examine how clients perform, adapt, create, connect and find meaning through occupation across the lifespan.

With two decades of diverse clinical experience, I support people of all ages and needs, referring to specialized practitioners when appropriate.

GUIDANCE THAT FITS YOUR LIFE

I work with adults, children, caregivers, and agencies to address individual or situational challenges. Using personalized assessment, tailored strategies, and ongoing guidance, I help identify strengths and limitations, reduce or remove barriers, and create environments and routines that support people of varying ages and abilities, enhancing quality of life and meaningful participation.
